Extend the telescopic thread stand to its maximum height and twist it until it clicks securely into place. Place the thread spools or cones onto the cone holders on the spool pins. If the machine is already threaded, straighten the threads to avoid tangling.

Adjustable Stitch Length | Adjustable Seam Width

For most sewing tasks, set the stitch length dial to N . When working with heavy-weight fabrics, adjust the stitch length to 4 mm. For lightweight fabrics, set the stitch length to 2 mm to ensure optimal stitching performance.

The stitch width can be adjusted by changing the needle position or using the width adjustment knob: When using only the left needle, or both needles, the stitch width is 5.7 mm. When using only the right needle, the stitch width is 3.5 mm.

Differential Feed

This feature controls the ratio of movement between the front and back sections of the feed teeth, ensuring smooth and even fabric feeding. Use this function to eliminate distortion in seams when working with stretchy fabrics and to prevent puckering in seams on lightweight or silky fabrics, achieving professional-quality results on any material.

Snap on Presser Feet

No need to hunt for a screwdriver when changing presser feet! The Singer S0100 features a snap-on presser foot shank. Just press the button on the back of the presser foot shank, and your current foot detaches instantly. The new presser foot snaps back onto the shank effortlessly, allowing you to continue serging without interruption!

Presser Foot Pressure Adjusting Dial

The presser foot pressure is pre-set for normal sewing conditions. However, adjustments may be necessary for optimal results on different fabrics. Increase or decrease the pressure until you achieve the desired outcome. To decrease the pressure, turn the adjustment tool counter-clockwise. To increase the pressure, turn the adjustment tool clockwise.
This ensures perfect sewing results for a variety of fabric types.

2-Thread Conversion

2-thread overlock stitches are created using one needle thread and the lower looper thread. Before sewing, attach the two-thread converter to the upper looper, enabling the machine to sew with just two threads.

Movable Upper Knife

The upper knife can be engaged to trim excess seam allowance as you sew, providing a clean, professional finish. Alternatively, it can be rolled out of the way for special techniques like flat locking or any time you don t want the machine to trim, offering flexibility for various sewing projects.

Free Arm Sewing

The free arm makes it easier to sew small items and hard-to-reach areas such as armholes and trouser cuffs. To remove the flat bed extension, slide the flat bed extension to the left and remove it from the machine. To replace the flatbed extension, align the projection on the flatbed extension with the groove on the back of the free arm. Slide it to the right until it snaps into place.

Extra High Presser Foot Lifter

The presser foot lifter raises (4.5mm) and lowers the presser foot higher than the standard position, making it easy to remove presser feet and accommodate thicker materials or heavy fabrics like denim or quilt layers.
